Cirque Gala NYE 2017 @ FIVESIXTY

What: Experience Cirque – a unique twist on nightlife. One of the most unique events in Vancouver’s NYE calendar, this will be the fifth annual Cirque Gala at FIVESIXTY, Vancouver’s largest multi-level nightclub. It’s going to be a party like none other, with hundreds of attendees, three rooms of music on three floors, jaw-dropping silk aerialists soaring above the crowd, stilt walkers roaming the dancefloor, and performances from costumed dancers throughout the evening. To top it off, you’ll enjoy a complimentary champagne toast at midnight to ring in the new year in style!

Concord’s New Year’s Eve Vancouver Fireworks Celebration

What: This was Canada’s largest New Year’s Eve event last year, attracting over 80,000 attendees at its inaugural event. The free, all-ages event by the Vancouver New Year’s Eve Celebration Society includes a free festival on Canada Place Way with two outdoor concert stages, over 20 food trucks, roaming live entertainment, and sponsor exhibitions.
Artists and bands that will perform at the outdoor stages include the New Pornographers, Wintersleep, Crystal Shawanda, Meghan Patrick, Dan Davidson, and Spencer Burton.
There will also be two fireworks displays: a 9 pm Family Fireworks display and a longer, more spectacular Midnight Countdown Fireworks display at midnight. Revellers can enjoy the fireworks from two premium viewing areas located at the RE/MAX Family Zone at Canada Place and the Outdoor Fireworks Viewing Zone located on the north seawall of the Vancouver Convention Centre’s West Building.

TRUE NORTH Indoor Party by Concord’s New Year’s Eve Vancouver
What: Organized by the Vancouver New Year’s Eve Celebration Society, in partnership with BRAND LIVE, the local event production company that organized Squamish Festival, TRUE NORTH is Vancouver’s largest and best indoor NYE party and the only indoor party with a direct, close-up view of the 9 pm and midnight fireworks in Coal Harbour.
The fully licensed party is held inside the West Ballroom of the West Building of the Vancouver Convention Centre – the largest waterfront ballrooms in Canada. Revellers at TRUE NORTH can watch the fireworks from indoors or outdoors: either through the tall three-storey, floor-to-ceiling glass windows of the convention centre or from the Pacific Terrace outdoor plaza (the location of the Digital Orca statue). Complimentary snacks are included for all revellers.
This will be a multi-ballroom experience, with one room featuring a concert stage headlined by The Sheepdogs, along with live performances by Yukon Blonde, Humans, and Delhi to Dublin. The other room will feature DJs, namely local favourites Kevin Shiu, Andy Clockwork, and Hebegebe.
For the best experience at TRUE NORTH, the VIP experience includes: rapid access VIP entrance, free coat check, VIP Lounge with premium bar, premium snacks, complimentary champagne toast at midnight, VIP-only covered outdoor terrace, VIP-only viewing area for the fireworks, and VIP-only washrooms with luxury amenities and attendants.
