For those with limited budgets or desiring to hand off the dangerous explosive task to someone else, a number of professional fireworks shows are planned for Metro Vancouver this Halloween 2016.

Fireworks have long been a traditional part of Halloween revelry in the region, and outside of Vancouver, there are a few communities that are staging professional fireworks shows.

Some areas, like Delta, Surrey and Langley, do not have any sanctioned fireworks events, but may have other community gatherings and safety tips to round out your festivities. In New Westminster, some fireworks are permitted to be set off by adults on Halloween, but you’ll want to follow their guidelines. There’s a similar set-up in West Vancouver, too.
