WTF – What the Fun!

Vancouver TheatreSports League

  • What: With the aid of audience suggestions, WTF  takes its inspiration from the quirky stories found in the weekly news and on-line. Part of the show features ‘re-interpretations’ of fun times had by audience members by adding our own humorous and unpredictable spin to their Instagram photos or written anecdotes.

RILS Comedy Fundraiser

  • What: A stand-up comedy fundraiser for Residences for Independent Living Society, an organization that has provided accommodations to adults living with disabilities in Vancouver for nearly 50 years. Featuring Claire Pollock, Julia Stretch, Megan Milton, Andrew Vallance, Byron Bertram and Hayley Beamish with Jo Dworschak as MC and Katie Ellen Humphries as the headliner

Erica Sigurdson

  • What: Erica Sigurdson is a multiple-time nominee for the Canadian Comedy Awards, and is a Leo Award winning writer.  Her comedy festival credits include Montreal Just For Laughs, Winnipeg, Halifax, St. John’s, Moncton, P.E.I., Sudbury and Vancouver Comedy Festivals.

Andrew Schulz

  • What: A native New Yorker and internationally touring stand-up, Andrew Schulz is known for his hilarious and unapologetic comedy. Andrew’s debut album 5:5:1 launched in June 2018 as the #1 comedy album and #19 album across all genres on iTunes. He recently starred in the sitcom Benders (now available on Netflix), and can be seen in Amazon’s Sneaky Pete and the new season of HBO’s Crashing.

Chris Locke

  • What: Chris Locke takes over Little Mountain Gallery for a night of comedy with guests Graham Clark, Fatima Dhowre, Ryan Williams and Jenny Toews. Hosted by Ryan Biel and Aaron Read.

Joe Rogan

  • What: The infamous UFC colour commentator is heading to Abbotsford this summer, not to sit ring-side, but to put on a show of his very own. The Stranger Times 2018 tour is Rogan’s North America comedy tour. This isn’t Rogan’s first jaunt into the world of comedy, as he has been working as a standup comedian for more than 20 years, and even has an hour-long comedy special, Joe Rogan: Triggered, that fans can check out on Netflix.

Improv X Painting aka Canvas Comedy

  • What: The Fictionals’ latest comedy mashup show explores the world of art, creating improv from historical paintings and modern masterpieces. Featuring special guest Diana Victoria Newman, who will be painting live at Cafe Deux Soleils to inspire the scenes along with audience suggestions.

The Gateway Show

  • What: Stand-up comedians take to the stage and tell their best jokes, then they go to an undisclosed location to get way too high, only to come back to the stage and attempt to tell more jokes completely baked. Featuring Kyle Bottom, Mike Masilotti, Rachel Walls, Nariko Ott and host Billy Anderson.
