The Valley Haunt is one of the must-see spooky sights in the Vancouver area.
It all began 15 years ago when Karen Dietz put together a small Halloween set-up for kids in her neighbourhood. With the help of her 14-year-old daughter, Paisia, Dietz has now grown the Halloween display into a huge spooky spectacle, perfect for little ones and adults alike.
For the 2016 Halloween season, the Valley Haunt will be enclosed in walk-through shipping containers. It will be a bigger and spookier Halloween display.
Last year, the mother-daughter team started taking donations for the BC Professional Firefighter’s Burn Fund and raised over $1200. This year, they are doing the same and hope to raise even more money for a good cause.
Come in your costumes and be prepared for some spooky Halloween fun. The Valley Haunt is recommended for children 8 years old and up.
