There’s no better way to kick off the school year than with an epic outdoor party – and that’s exactly what’s going down at the AMS Welcome Back BBQ.
Taking place on September 14, the Welcome Back BBQ bringing UBC students an outdoor music festival featuring famous artists, food, a 19+ beer garden and a giant dance floor.

The AMS Welcome Back BBQ started roughly three decades ago when the AMS decided that coming back to school was probably not something students were looking forward to.
So, the AMS thought of an epic party that would get students hyped about starting the school year.

Since then, the AMS Welcome Back BBQ has become a massive party that brings together UBC students as they let off some steam before hitting the books.
Tickets are on sale now and are open to UBC students and the general public. You can also get all the event info you need (what to bring, general guidelines) here.
