This is not a drill… Tom Jones is coming to Vancouver in 2018!
yes, in music that will be ears to fans of the septuagenerian Welsh warbler; the iconic singer behind hits such as “Delilah”, “Sex Bomb”, and “Green Green Grass of Home” is set to play the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on June 2.
Tom Jones’ 50-year career has remarkably gone from strength-to-strength. Along with sustaining his popularity as a live performer and recording artist for five decades, he has garnered – at the age of 77 – the best reviews of his career for his most recent albums.
Knighted by Her Majesty the Queen in 2006; Sir Tom has also landed a BRIT Award, a Silver Clef Award and a Silver Clef Award, GQ Man Of The Year, and the prestigious Music Industry Trust Award.
He has also been animated as himself in The Simpsons, and appeared on the big screen in Tim Burton’s kooky extra terrestrial caper Mars Attacks.
Tickets for the show will be available online on Friday September 29 at 10 am.
