The first half of February is when most people break their New Year’s resolutions, so one of Vancouver’s dopest fitness studios is doing something seriously tight to make sure people know that’s A-OK with them.
Tight Club, a Chinatown mecca for all things sweat, will be hiding 100 free class passes in shops around downtown Vancouver in the form of cleverly-labeled junk food.
The campaign aims to bring awareness to the fact that January fitness and health resolutions are usually too restrictive, Tight Club wants you to grab a bag of chips and not feel the post-snacking guilt that most of us experience.
Look for black and white labels like “Salted Regret,” “Sugar Crash,” and “Carbonated Defeat” on Sunday, February 11, and you could be on your way to the 261 Union Street studio to get your sweat on with the crew at Tight – all you have to do is follow the instructions on the package to redeem.
“These are treats people love, but they also fill them with guilt,” says Tight Club President and Head Coach Keighty Gallagher. “The team at Tight Club Athletics believes that indulging in chips, chocolate, or pop from time to time is ok when paired with a balanced lifestyle.”
So get your search on and break a sweat looking for your free passes this weekend fam, the studio will be dropping location hints via Instagram.
Something VERY tight is about to go down this weekend! Operation #shopdropandroll kicks off this Sunday with @Maxime.evans and @keightythousand dropping these super special bags/bars and cans at various grocery stores during your Sunday shop. These special cans, bags and bars count as one free class at Tight Club. See you out there on Sunday! Whoop! #nomoreresolutions
