With my co-host Jay DeMerit out of town, I was joined in-studio by BC-born hip hop king Prevail of the Swollen Members. This show actually featured two Headliners in Prevail and Canadian country star Chad Brownlee.
Ryan Sullivan (as Nelly Furtado) and Prevail rap Breath
The ‘Breath’ duet comes in at 17:00 minute mark*

BTW, our two Headliners came courtesy of Burrard Physiotherapy and Yagger’s Restaurants and Sports Bars.
After rapping the Swollen Members classic ‘Breath’ with Prevail, we chatted about his career and how he got started in the hip hop industry. We also talked about The Green Men’s brief stint in the biz while co-starring in a Moka Only music video. Oh yea, it’s true. Go check out ZZBRA on YouTube.
I then chatted with Chad Brownlee about his career and what lies ahead for him. Of course, we spoke about him being drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in 2003, but we dove a little deeper than that. We chatted about how tough the decision was to focus on music instead of hockey and then some.
Prevail and I then previewed the playoff week ahead in the NBA and NHL courtesy of the fine folks at Burrard Roofing and Drainage. To polish things off, we then answered some Cono Sur fan mail from our social handles (listed below).
Hey, did you miss our episode with NHL analyst Greg Wyshynski? No problem. Here it is!
