The Drum Is Calling Festival is happening right now in Vancouver.

The long-awaited nine-day festival is celebrating Indigenous arts, music, culture, fashion, and more, with a series of events taking place daily at Larwill Park next to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

And you can go along to enjoy the festivities until they finish this Sunday, July 30 – for free. It’s that easy.

Simply register online prior to any events that you’re planning to attend at the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre and Queen Elizabeth Theatre Lobby.

You can expect to see everything from live music performances by top Canadian artists, to storytelling, visual displays, dancing, and even fashion shows this week at the first ever Indigenous Fashion Week.

We’ve rounded up the top photos from The Drum Is Calling Festival taken on Tuesday, July 25, and Wednesday, July 26, so you can see why it’s a good idea to visit the event this week.
