TEDxStanleyPark 2017 aims to inspire brave action

The TEDxStanleyPark conference is back for 2017 with the perfect theme for these dark days – inspiring brave action.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the independently organized TED event at Queen Elizabeth Theatre on March 4.

Some 12 live speakers from all walks of life will take the stage, all of them trying to inspire, stimulate and activate thoughtful optimists to move the needle toward a better world.

Speakers this year include:

Vikram Vij

Vikram Vij is a renowned Indian chef/owner of award-winning restaurants and a passionate advocate of eating locally-produced foods.

Elizabeth May

Elizabeth May is Leader of the Green Party of Canada, an Officer of the Order of Canada and the Member of Parliament for Saanich – Gulf Islands.

Ashley Zahabian

Ashley Zahabian is a powerful young thought leader based in New York, working to spread awareness of the power of emotional intelligence and crack the glass ceiling.

Bill Stainton

Bill Stainton is a 29-time Emmy Award winning executive producer, speaker and author, based in Seattle, who wants to help innovative business leaders.
