Taste of Yaletown 2016: Full list of 31 participating restaurants

Have you checked out any restaurants in Yaletown lately? If you’ve been meaning to make a visit to one of Vancouver’s chicest neighbourhoods for a meal, you may want to mark your calendar for October 13 to 27 to check out Taste of Yaletown 2016.

This two-week dining event run by the Yaletown Business Improvement Association (YBIA) is in its 12th year, and is all about bringing hungry diners to Yaletown to try three-course menus each showcasing the many stellar restaurants in the area.

Taste of Yaletown is shaking things up for 2016 with their approach to the event, which previously was all about the fixed menu lunches and dinners. This year, the 31 participating restaurants will offer exclusive featured menus, special tastings and innovative pairing combinations at set prices of $25, $35, $45, all aimed at celebrating the spirit of dining out and the bounty of great food found in Yaletown.

“With our new Sharing & Pairing menu format, we are promising that this year’s Taste of Yaletown will showcase an amazing array of menu offerings and incredible dining experiences,” says Annette O’Shea, Executive Director of the YBIA.

Sample anything from an ocean-fresh oyster plate paired with prosecco at Rodney’s Oyster House to the contemporary take on Vietnamese classics at the recently-opened House Special. Indulge in a supper with a wine for each course at WildTale, or sneak in a couple of visits to spots that won’t break the bank, like the $15 option at Lime & Moon Pie Company or the $12 deal at DD Mau.

Also for the 12th year in a row, Yaletown will be making a donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Since the event launched in 2004, Taste of Yaletown has raised over $112,000 in support of community initiatives.
