A dramatic incident involving a flipped car in Surrey was captured on video and posted to Youtube this week.

Around 9:30 am on Wednesday morning, Surrey firefighters and RCMP responded to a car accident in the 13500 block of 98 Avenue.

According to police, the 60-year-old driver of the car hit a parked vehicle, which then hit another parked car, and ultimately resulted in the driver’s vehicle flipping over.

With his car upside down, the man had to be extracted from the vehicle using the Jaws of Life.

Surrey RCMP spokesperson Alanna Dunlop told Daily Hive the man was then taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“We are continuing to investigate what led up to this crash occurring and are speaking with witnesses,” she added.
