The Surrey RCMP are investigating after a man was found dead inside a donation bin.
They were called to the scene at 150th Street and 104th Avenue at 6:45 am after a passer-by saw a man stuck inside the bin. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Surrey Fire Department assisted the RCMP and the BC Coroners Service with removing the body from the bin.
The Surrey RCMP says their general investigation unit is leading the investigation, but the death doesn’t appear to be suspicious right now. Investigators are still trying to figure out the man’s identity, and they’re canvassing the neighbourhood for witnesses and video footage.
