5 cars involved in Surrey collision, one person ejected from vehicle

Police are investigating a serious vehicle collision that occurred early this afternoon at the intersection of 64th Avenue and 124th Street in Surrey.

According to Surrey RCMP, officers responded to reports of an incident at 1:49 pm.

When they arrived to the scene, they discovered a collision that involved five vehicles, which resulted in five injuries.

One person was rushed to hospital in critical condition after being ejected out of a vehicle. Another four individuals are receiving treatment for suspected minor injuries.

The intersection is closed until further notice to allow police to investigate the cause and circumstances of the incident.
