There’s nothing quite like waking up to a stunning sunrise to kickstart your day.

And on Tuesday morning, that’s exactly what happened in the skies over Metro Vancouver.

With rain in the forecast this week, the mix of of colours, the clouds and the light was no doubt a welcome sight for those witnessed this performance from Mother Nature first-hand.

However, the sunrise happens pretty early and it’s fair to say that many people also slept through it.
