It was forecast for higher elevations, but now it seems the snow has made its way into parts of Metro Vancouver this afternoon.
Yes, the cold rain that has been dousing the region all of Thursday appears to have switched to snow in some areas.

And while the weather in the city of Vancouver is a combination of wet snow and rain at the moment, other are of the region – such as Burnaby’s Simon Fraser University campus – are being served a solid helping of the white stuff.
According to Environment Canada, the combination of wet snow and rain throughout the region is forecast to continue throughout the rest of Thursday and into Friday.
Total snowfall accumulations at higher elevations are forecast to be around the the 2 cm mark.
