Bringing back another blast from the past, a pop-up roller disco is returning to downtown Vancouver this Sunday.

Hosted by Roller Skate Vancouver, the event takes place at the Robson Square Rink, from 5 to 9 pm on Sunday, May 27.

Admission to the event is $10 at the door, cash-only.

Skate rentals will be available for $10 a pair and are first come, first-served.

The event is open to anyone, age 16 and older.

Event organizers have revealed that the disco will have live music supplied by DJ K-Tel and have funky tunes blasting all evening long.

This month’s event doesn’t have a set theme, however, participants are encouraged to come dressed in comfortable clothing that would be adequate for leisurely physical activity.

All skaters partake in the event at their own risk, and as such are encouraged to “make good choices.”
