Riverdale star Tiera Skovbye gets engaged on Vancouver Island

Fans of the popular TV series Riverdale should be delighted to hear that everyone’s favourite pregnant Cooper got engaged last weekend.

During a trip to Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island, Tiera Skovbye (AKA Polly Cooper on the show) was proposed to by her boyfriend Jameson Parker.

Parker is a producer who just wrapped up shooting of the movie Summer of 84, Which had been filming around Britannia Beach and includes his wife-to-be.

Skovbye broke the news on Instagram, showing a picture of the couple holding up their ring fingers and with an excited caption:

“This weekend was something out of a dream. The love of my life surprised the crap out of me and asked me to marry him in his childhood bedroom (not planned, I’m really hard to surprise). We got to spend the rest of the weekend hanging out on the lake with both our families and it was absolutely wonderful. I’m over the *moon emoji* happy.”

We dun did it!!!! This weekend at the lake I grew up on, with all of our family around and a lot of champagne: I asked my best friend to marry me. For some reason the beautiful, talented @tskovbye1 actually said yes and I can’t wait to marry the girl of my dreams in front of all of our favourite people.
