You will find over 50 food trucks at this epic free festival in Richmond

There are many things that will attract you the the Richmond World Festival, going down on September 1 and 2 this year at Minoru Park.

It may be the epic performances by over 75 artists on nine stages – including headliners Tokyo Police Club, Dragonette, and Verbal Jint – the digital carnival, or perhaps it’s the artisan marketplace that will be bring you to this event, for us, it’s definitely going to be the food.

We’ll be heading to Richmond come September to devour some eats from the whopping 50+ food trucks at the celebration – formally called the FEASTival of Flavours.

The trucks will offer a crazy array of cuisine from a variety of different cultures, and the selection includes local faves like Arturo’s To Go, BelJam’s Waffles, Big Red’s Poutine, Cannoli King, Melt City Grilled Cheese, Chickpea, Curry Express, D Original Sausage House, Didi’s Greek, and Dim Sum Express to name a few.

The multicultural festival will attract thousands of people over the Labor Day long weekend looking to take part in watching the live music, cultural performances, dance troupes, buskers, and chefs.
