Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Metro Vancouver this morning, November 1.

According to the site, “A subtropical plume of moisture has taken aim at BC. This will produce rain, heavy at times, to fall over coastal BC through today and the overnight period, before easing off Thursday morning.”

Total accumulations between 50 and 80 mm are expected over the next 24 hours for northeast Vancouver, northwest Vancouver, Howe Sound and west Fraser Valley.

Both flash floods and water pooling on roads are both possible.

Stay dry, Vancouver!
