The only thing more ubiquitous than cat videos is food porn.
Those tantalizing photos and videos of food-gasmic creations pull us in, make us drool over our keyboards as we add dish after dish to our culinary bucket lists. And Daily Hive is going to give Vancouver more to drool about with our new video series called “Put it in my Mouth.”
Every day we’ll release a new 30 to 60 second video featuring a signature dish from a local restaurant on Facebook. And we want to give Vancouver’s gastronomic geniuses a chance to be featured on “Put it in my Mouth” with a free video.
Our Facebook account has more than 340,000 followers, and they can’t get enough of food. A video we did for Sweet Jesus, a gourmet ice creamery in Toronto, recieved almost 50,000 views – and our Toronto market is only one 10th of the size of Vancouver.
“Within 24 hours of the Daily Hive launching a video vignette featuring the New Basic hot beverage at Sweet Jesus, I received calls from multiple managers citing a recognizable increase in demand for that specific product,” Andrew Richmond, CEO of Monarch and Misfits, says.
