2 of Canada's 3 most profitable malls are in Vancouver

According to a newly released RCC study, two out of Canada’s top three most profitable  malls are located right in our city.

In second place, right behind Canada’s most profitable mall (Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre), is Vancouver’s Oakridge Centre, which generated a revenue of $1,579 per square foot, for the 12 months ending June 30, 2017.

In comparison, Toronto’s Yorkdale generated $1,653 – the only mall in the country to break the $1,600 mark.

Rounding out the top three was was downtown Vancouver’s Pacific Centre Mall, which generated $1,531 per square foot.

A little further down the list, sitting in eighth spot, was Burnaby’s Metropolis at Metrotown, which generated $1,031 per square foot.
