More than 3,100 BC Hydro customers in the Lower Mainland and on the Sunshine Coast are still without power this morning after last night’s strong winds.

At the time of writing, a total of 32 outages were affecting the customers, but during its peak BC Hydro says that there were more than 45,000 customers without power due to the windstorm.

In a statement, BC Hydro says crews are working hard to restore power to the Lower Mainland as quickly and safely as possible, and individual restoration times will vary.
