There is one gym and six PokéStops directly in or adjacent to the Aquarium, and staff will be setting lures up inside the Aquarium throughout the day. Charging stations will be available for anyone that needs to keep their smartphones powered up.

When trainers show their Pokémon GO profile upon arrival, they can receive 10% off their entry. Additionally, trainers in Stanley Park can receive 10% off food and beverages at the Waterfall Café and 10% off at the Vancouver Aquarium Gift Shop, which are both accessible to the public without admission. These offers will last through the day before closing time.

Large crowds are expected to descend onto Stanley Park for the largest Pokémon GO meet up yet in Vancouver. The meet up runs from 2 pm to 4 am, running past the first night of Honda Celebration of Light fireworks that go off at 10 pm in English Bay.
