Pedestrian in critical condition after being hit by car in Burnaby

A 33-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Burnaby on Monday evening.
Cpl. Daniela Panesar of Burnaby RCMP told Daily Hive the incident occurred at about 9 pm on the 4100 block of Hastings Street.
“Her current condition is serious but stable,” said Panesar.
Speed and road conditions were not a factor. Panesar said the investigation is ongoing.
