'One more for Gord': Tragically Hip Benefit Concert Vancouver 2016

Vancouver’s local musicians and artists are coming together to show their support for Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip in a benefit concert on Friday, October 7.

The event will feature performances by musicians and bands such as Alex Marusyk, Greasy Jungle, and Ghost Body.

Artist James Ritchie will be painting a Gord Downie portrait live at the event, which will be raffled off at the end of the night.

All proceeds from the benefit night will go to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research – the fund Canadians have already donated over $1 million towards.

More artists and musical guests will be announced soon, so keep checking the event’s Facebook page for updates.

Time: Doors at 8:30 pm, music at 9 pm

Tickets: $10 at the door
