After after learning his favourite jacket company had published a tribute to Holocaust denier Doug Collins in one of their winter catalogues, comedian and Vancouver native Nathan Fielder decided to take action.

Fielder, the host of Comedy Central’s Nathan For You, started a new brand of outdoor clothing – Summit Ice – and this Sunday he will be making a $150,000 donation to the Vancouver Holocaust Education Center (VHEC) from the company’s profits.

As part of the trip, Fielder will also be opening Summit Ice’s first retail pop-up store at 138 East Broadway.

Residents are encouraged to come down to meet Fielder, trade in any Taiga jacket they have in exchange for a free Summit Ice soft-shell jacket, and receive a “Deny Nothing” pin.

Donations will also be accepted in exchange for other Summit Ice clothing while supplies last. The one-day event will take place from 11 am to 5 pm.
