MUJI's flagship store on Robson Street is having an amazing promo event until May 28

The Japanese retail brand is celebrating its first flagship store in Canada, located on Robson Street, with a next-level promotional event.

From now until Monday, May 28 the store is shining a spotlight on all of the unique products and services it offers. Learn more about the brand, enjoy discounted shopping, and have the best time while you’re there.

So, to help you see why this flagship store event is totally worth your time, we’ve rounded up seven things you can enjoy while you’re there.

Get 10% off purchases

If you’re a MUJI Mail member, you’ll receive an email with this promotion information. All you have to do then is show the email to the cashier to redeem the offer. This discount applies to regular-priced items only and cannot be combined with any other promotion. Don’t worry if you’re not a MUJI Mail member yet; you can sign up via MUJI right now. As a new subscriber, you’ll just have to show your subscription confirmation email instead to avail of the discount.

Free style advice

MUJI Robson Street offers a complimentary style advisory service so if you ever need a second opinion, an outfit idea, or just someone to shop with, you know where to go. The style advisor is there to show you the many ways MUJI seasonal and year-round pieces can be incorporated into your own wardrobe.

Throughout the promotional event, style advisors will be distributing $10 embroidery vouchers to any customers they helped. It’s all very casual so there’s no need for an actual booking or formal consultation.

Interior advisory service promotion

If you’re thinking about upgrading your interior design, now’s the time to do it. You can book a consultation with MUJI’s interior advisor on the spot, or by filling out a booking form in-store or online. Bonus: If you get a consultation and purchase furniture for $300 or more (before tax) during the promotion, you’ll receive 15% off your purchase.

Aroma bar promotion and event

MUJI Robson Street is the only MUJI store in Canada with an aroma bar. This service allows you to create your own customized fragrance blend by choosing from more than 40 essential oils. On May 19, 20, 26 and 27, you can join a MUJI aromatherapy presentation at the store at 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, or 3:30 pm.

Each session will last for about 10 to 15 minutes and you’ll be provided with detailed handouts. There’s no registration required for these events and if you choose to buy an essential oil blend after the presentation, you’ll get 15% off. This offer is not applicable to regular essential oils. Embroidery promotion

Craft makers rejoice – all embroidery patterns will be two for one during this flagship promotion! It doesn’t matter if there are two patterns on one item, or one pattern on two different items, they’re still included. And this includes t-shirts; you can purchase one graphic pattern and get another one at equal or lesser value for free. For regular-sized letters, get up to 20 letters instead of 10 for the same price, and for large-sized letters, receive up to six letters instead of three for the same price.

Coffee counter promotion

How do you like your coffee in the morning? Well, the first 100 customers through the door of MUJI Robson Street each day will get a free cup of coffee with their purchase. There’s no minimum spend requirement, so you’ll get to enjoy a hot beverage whether you buy a set of gel pens or fresh linens.

Kids storybook reading

There’s something for everyone at this MUJI Robson event, including the kids. On May 19 and 26, kids storybook reading sessions will be taking place at 2 pm and 4 pm in the kids books area. Bring the kids along where they can enjoy the session sitting on comfortable bead sofas. You can register for your spot here.
