Monarch Burger: All hail the new king at The American pub

Apr 27 2017, 11:05 pm

One of Vancouver’s worst-kept culinary secrets is the insane deliciousness that is Campagnolo Upstairs’ Dirty Burger. The man behind the beef is Chef Robert Belcham, and for a few months now he’s been doing a burger pop-up at The American, which is now going permanent.

Called Monarch Burger, the slim menu keeps it real; you have your choice of a hamburger, cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, veggie burger, and grilled cheese, with sides of fries, poutine, and a kale Caesar.

Customize your burger with all sorts of add-ons, and get ready to grab those napkins to sop up all that juicy goodness. (PS, Belcham is fond of using the Instagram hashtag #sofuckengood, so you’re in for some f-bomb worthy grub.) Hit Monarch up from 5 to 7 pm daily and score the Burger and a Beer deal for $12.
