While this ice cream shop’s regular menu consists of sweet and drool-worthy flavours like Double Oreo, Crème Brûlée, and S’Mores – they’ve been known to do some out-of-the-box varieties like Old Fashioned Cocktail-fused and Avocado flavoured treats from time to time.

But guys – Mister has really pushed the ice cream boundaries with its new creation for Canada 150 – they’ve created a Smoked Salmon Ice Cream Sammie.

That’s right, Smoked SALMON.

This $5 sammie is a savoury take on the ice cream sandwich. The creation features smoked, wild BC salmon blended into a milk and cream cheese base, sandwiched between two cracker crumb wafers.

We know, we know, we are confused too, but it’s an intriguing concept and it makes us want to try it even more.

Less crazy, but sure to be highly delicious, Mister is also offering a Maple Candy Bacon flavour of its nitrogen ice cream for $6. This treat features a double hit of Québec maple syrup. This base is mixed with maple-candied bacon.

Our advice? Get both Canada 150 treats from Mister and that way if the salmon tastes fishy (no pun intended) you can wash it down with that sweet Canadian syrup baby!

These flavours are only available during the Canada Day long weekend – Friday, June 30 to Sunday, July 2.
