Japanese-designed retail brand MINISO is opening a brand new store in Vancouver’s Kerrisdale neighbourhood today (Monday, January 29).

The new store can be found at 2136-2138 West 41st Avenue.

Co-founded in 2013 by Japanese designer Miyake Junya and Chinese entrepreneur Ye Guofu, MINISO sticks to the philosophy of “simplicity, nature, and good quality,” dedicating itself to providing customers with high quality products that are competitively priced.

MINISO is now a successful brand around the world and it has in excess of 1,000 stores operating in more than 40 countries.

The Kerrisdale store kicked off its grand opening celebration at 11 am today and will be marking the occasion with numerous promotions and prizes.

The newest location is the retailer’s fifth location in Metro Vancouver; they’ve recently opened other locations on West Broadway, Granville Street near West Pender Street, Robson Street and Tsawwassen Mills.
