$7-million winning Lotto 6/49 ticket purchased in Metro Vancouver
Someone in Metro Vancouver became $7 million richer — and they don’t even know it yet.
The BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) says a single Lotto 6/49 ticket purchased in Richmond matched all six numbers across Canada to win the $7 million jackpot.
As per BCLC regulations, all prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize.
The odds of winning a Lotto 6/49 jackpot are 1 in 13,983,816.
In a release, BCLC said the specific retail location where a winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the winners’ name will be announced after they have come forward to claim their prize.
So, if you purchased a ticket in Richmond recently, be sure to check it because you could be $7 million richer!
