More sunshine in Metro Vancouver's forecast this week

Residents in Metro Vancouver can expect calm and stable conditions with ample sunshine to enjoy this week.

The latest forecast by Environment Canada shows an enduring high pressure system, which will bring clear skies, over much of the province.

However, there is a small blip in the middle of the week with a chance of overnight rain on Wednesday through the early morning hours of Thursday. As well, temperatures by the water in Vancouver during this period will dip to a daytime high of 20°C and a chilly nighttime high of just 11°C.

But the mercury will rise over the last weekend of the month, with temperatures reaching the mid 20s.
