McDonald's Canada just introduced waffle fries

McDonald’s Canada is now serving waffle-cut fries… for a limited time anyway.

Get them while you can because the seasonal offering is available exclusively in Canada* and will only be available for a short time.

The criss-cross style chips described as a mash-up between hash browns and French fries are joined on the promotional menu by a Potato Rosti Bacon Burger built on a “snowflake bun” and smothered in parmesan cheese sauce.

It sounds exciting, but could the novelty item really ever usurp the status of McD’s signature, thin-cut fries? Will they fit inside the sweet ‘n sour dipping cups? How many do you really get inside one of those red sleeves?

So many questions. Sounds like we NEED to eat McDonald’s for lunch today.
