ManTalks hosts "Mindset & Power of Mentors" speaker series on Monday

Popular Vancouver speaker series ManTalks returns on Monday, hosting three powerful speakers who will share their journey on mentorship.

On October 24, the series, titled “Mindset & The Power Of Mentors,” will share the journey of how powerful mentorship is for building wealth, the mindset needed to succeed and how to shift our narratives around money.

ManTalks is a growing international community of men having bold conversations and redefining what it means to be a man in this day and age. ManTalks started in Vancouver and has since launched in L.A, Toronto & Miami.

We’ve all heard successful people say it: ‘mindset matters’ and ‘find a mentor who will help guide you.’ In our modern day society, so few people actually feel like they have powerful mentors in their life who are giving them feedback and helping to shift their mindset to something more growth and success oriented.

The series will include the following speakers:

Graham Young

A Performance Consultant, Coach and Speaker, Graham Young writes in Fast Company, TIME, Business Insider and Entrepreneur magazine. Graham works with organizations to show that optimizing brain performance in the digital age is the key to elevating employee engagement, productivity and sales. He is also a peak performance coach for business professionals.

Daniel Fox

Daniel Fox is a solo wilderness explorer who uses nature to help people change their perspective on life. He believes in the power of nature to nurture, awaken, transcend, uplift, restore and elevate the human spirit. Through his photography, writing and videos, Fox uses his narrative to inspire the public to reconnect with life and the natural world through humility and perspective. He is the founder of W.I.L.D., an initiative that raises funds to send under privileged youth to wilderness immersion camps. Fox is a FUJIFILM X-Photographer, a SanDisk Extreme Team Member, & a Kokatat Ambassador.

Kevin Shaw

Kevin Shaw is Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions at Renaissance Group, a Vancouver-based financial services firm. His role involves assisting with the divestiture and succession planning of private small- to mid-size businesses. Kevin is a dedicated member of his community. He is an award recipient for Best Non-Profit Organization and the recipient of the Ken Shields Community Achievement Award. Kevin is a Co-Founder of the Whisky Wisemen, an NPO aimed at supporting local charities throughout each of their five chapters located throughout North America. One of Kevin’s greatest personal achievements was cycling across Canada with two of his best friends, which resulted in more than $160,000 raised for Movember, in support of men’s health.
