Vancouverites, the festival you’ve been waiting for is almost here.

Lumière is set to illuminate The West End, English Bay, and Jim Deva Plaza, with epic light-art installations, performances, and community-building initiatives. And the annual festival officially starts this coming Saturday, December 2.

To kick off the celebrations in style, there’s going to be a dazzling fire show by Ember Arts at English Bay. You don’t want to miss this and the event that follows (in true Raincover fashion) – an umbrella light parade through the streets of the city!

You can visit Jim Deva Plaza where an array of cool artworks will be showcased and DJ Gizem Aksay will be spinning groovy house music tracks.

Once you’re finished checking out the art on display here you can head over to the official Lumière after party at Celebrities Nightclub to dance the night away. Saturday night sorted, eh?

Lumière is inspired by light and artistic expression and driven by community and connection.

Now you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy all the event has to offer including a pop-up art gallery, speaker series, public disco, and more, until Saturday, December 9.
