Coors Light Snowbombing Canada will feature one of the most substantive music lineups of the 2017 festival scene for its debut event at Sun Peaks Resort.
For days starting on April 6, the much-anticipated lineup includes headliners Ludacris and Kaskade, as well as Oliver Heldens, Bob Moses Live and Netsky. Ludacris, arguably the most commercially successful Southern rapper of his time, is one of the featured headliners at Coors Light Snowbombing Canada.
In a career that’s spanned more than 15 years, and sold out arenas around the world, Ludacris is known for his Dirty South style as well as an industry record breaker and trendsetter. With four Billboard No.1 albums coupled with close to sixteen million copies sold worldwide, Ludacris is an industry legend.
Following the drop of his newest single called “Beneath With Me” in October, Kaskade is another monster addition to the Snowbombing Canada lineup. He’s received numerous wins as “America’s Best DJ” by DJ Times, along with many mentions on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart. He was also rewarded with two Grammy Awards for ‘Atmosphere’ in Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronica album in 2014. But that’s not to mention the music festivals that he’s headlined across the globe, one of which was Coachella in 2015. Given this, it’s no wonder that Kaskade’s a “must-see” DJ.
Also hitting the stage at Coors Light Snowbombing Canada is the devilishly good Dutch DJ Oliver Heldens. He’s a recognized face on DJ Magazine’s Top 100 list, with multiple live shows that never fail to wow crowds across the world. Joining the lineup is Getter and Netsky, both stellar names within the electronic music community, along with the hip-hop meets trap king Hudson Mohawke. After playing Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo last year, local favourite Bob Moses Live will be gracing the stage at Snowbombing along with DJ Pete Tong who is the host of BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix and up-and-comer Mija.
It’s not just the world-class music lineup that’s earned Snowbombing the title of the world’s No.1 music festival on snow. Snowbombing Canada boasts over 4000 acres of snowy terrain as one of the largest ski resorts in Canada. It’s a perfect playground for adrenaline-junkies and novice skiers alike.
Snowbombing also offers up a dazzling array of luxurious condos and relaxation activities. Take in the breathtaking mountain views from a roof-top hot tub, stretch out with snow yoga or unwind in trail-side pools, saunas, and relaxation rooms after a long day on the slopes or an all-night party. But don’t forget about chair-lift speed dating and one of BC’s largest fancy dress street parties – just a couple of reasons why Snowbombing has redefined winter sports. It’s the perfect example of what the ultimate alpine music festival looks and sounds like.
