Artists in Our Midst, a group of artists dedicated to bringing public awareness to art created in Vancouver, will celebrate their 25th anniversary later this month with the annual West of Main Art Walk.
The event is scheduled to take place on May 27 to 28 with the festivities stretching across Vancouver from Point Grey to Main Street, and from Granville Island to 41st Avenue.
As part of the event more than 50 artists will share their work in garden studios, cafes, shops, and community centres.
A silent auction will also be held at the walk with all proceeds going to the West of Main Art Walk legacy scholarship fund that supports young and emerging artists from Arts and Umbrella and Lord Byng Secondary school.
