Dec 19 2017, 1:46 pm

Now entering its third year and having established itself as one of the top boutique music festivals in Canada, LIVE at Squamish is set to to deliver once again on it’s promise of “Happy times in a big field with great music”.  This year’s festival features a new collaboration with Live Nation Entertainment, and includes an ever expanding range of programming and attractions:

Silent Disco
Following its successful debut last year, the Silent Disco creates a truly immersive experience for those who like to dance like there’s nobody watching. With wireless headphones strapped on tight, partygoers can be lost in the music while outsiders watch limbs flailing and fists pumping in silence.

Glamping
LIVE at Squamish’s own “Glamour camping” provides guests with the essential festival experience.  Exclusively located behind the Garibaldi Stage, Glampers receive their own private entrance to the festival, access to hot showers, priority and in and out privileges and exclusive programming within the campsite. Glamping passes also include weekend parking for one vehicle, as well as automatic entry into the first ever Tent Décor competition; decorate your tent for the chance to win $500!

Artisan Village
Soak up some of the festival culture by visiting the inspiring Artisan Village. This full gallery area will keep people entertained all day long by showcasing local and BC artists doing live paintings and sculptures.

Ambient Performers
Stilt walkers, fire jugglers, roaming burlesque performers and the now-legendary “Lawn Girls” all add to the magical festival experience.  These unscripted performances can happen anytime and any place.

Black Bear Lounge
A premium rooftop deck overlooking the Garibaldi Stage will be one of the most sought after hang out spots at the festival. This 19+ area will welcome festival friends to kick back and relax while enjoying a premium view of the stage.

The Wood Shed
New for 2012, this area will open at dusk and be thumping late into the night with the hottest beats in an underground nightclub environment.

Friday Night Hootenanny
There’s no better way to boot LIVE at Squamish into high gear than to continue its tradition of opening the gates early for a Friday night kick off. This perennial crowd-pleaser gets the locals and other festivalgoers buzzing with excitement for the full weekend ahead. Admission is included with the weekend pass, or $20 at the door, and will run from 5:00PM until midnight.

Bacardi VIP Zone
Located next to the main stage, this 19+ VIP Lounge provides premium viewing of the mainstage, no hassle food and beverage, guaranteed access for VIP ticket holders and the best flushing toilets on the site!

Meadow Stage
An escape from the big crowds around the Stawamus and Garibaldi stages, the Meadow Stage provides an intimate setting for stripped down performances and collaborations from local and regional artists.

Virgin Mobile Café
Back for it’s second year to provide people with their morning and afternoon caffeine fixes, the Virgin Mobile Café offers a tranquil spot amongst the trees to sip a pick-me-up-beverage while surfing the net for free.

Squamish Bazaar
A group of trendy vendors huddled together to make the perfect eclectic street market will provide festivalgoers with a shopping experience like no other. Stop by the Squamish Bazaar for anything and everything under the sun.
