You’re going to want to clear your calendar for this event.

On Thursday, October 26 you can help support the Learning Disabilities Association of Vancouver (LDAV) and help raise funds by attending its 2017 Brews for Bright Futures annual fundraiser.

It’s taking place at the London Pub on Main Street and you can help by purchasing a ticket for just $25 via Eventbrite.

To make it better, you’ll get a complimentary beer and a burger with your ticket. It’s a great opportunity to get together with family and friends to support a great cause. There will also be music, a giant crossword puzzle, games, prizes, and a silent auction happening, too.

Headquartered in East Vancouver, the LDAV is a non-profit organization with a mission to empower every child and adolescent with a learning disability in Vancouver, to help them achieve life-long success and happiness.

In partnership with the University of British Columbia, LDAV provides research-based instruction to children who struggle in school. Its specialized interventionists offer individualized and professional support that teaches children to leverage their learning strengths in order to overcome their learning challenges. Within two to three years, LDAV’s programs teach children to be independent in the school system.

For more information about the event and the LDAV, visit www.ldav.ca. You can help spread the word by following LDAV on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn – and by talking about it on social media.
