Vancouver just got another spot for some very-welcome, Asian comfort food.

Hon’s Wonton House, a Chinese eatery that was located in Chinatown in the 1970s, will be making a modern-day return to Vancouver’s Olympic Village.

The new space looks to offer intimate dining combined with hand-crafted Asian favourites. A smaller, more selective menu offers dishes like pan-fried potstickers, wonton noodle bowls and soups, and traditional rice rolls.

The entire menu is only 10 items, giving extensive focus on simplicity, authenticity, and recreating a traditional Hong Kong wonton house.

Hon’s new location will be located at 25 East 2nd Avenue and looks to open before the end of the summer.

There are also plans to open several more locations in Greater Vancouver over the next year and a half, as well as plans to expand to several other Canadian cities.

We’ll keep you posted on opening dates as they come.
