Vancouver’s Herschel Supply Co. will be opening a pop up shop in Deep Cove, not far away from the company’s headquarters, this summer.
And this time, the retro backpacks company decided to go for something fresh with a design theme entitled The Lemonade Stand.
The Lemonade Stand is designed by Herschel co-founders Lyndon and Jamie Cormack and is set to feature exclusive pop-up themed Herschel Supply products.
Cold-pressed lemonade from The Juice Truck will be available to quench your thirst as a part of the theme, with proceeds going to the Artstarts charity.
You’ll be able to drink up for a good cause with lemonade flavours like Strawberry, Blue Majik (a blue-green algae extract that’s rich in antioxidants and iron), Charcoal (activated charcoal, which prevents toxins from being absorbed by the body), or good old plain lemonade, all ranging from $4 to $7.
In an email to Daily Hive, a Herschel spokesperson said “the activation is meant to showcase the brand’s love of architecture, design and storytelling while creating a brand experience that cultivates community over transactions.”
At the pop-up, you also can expect to find themed Herschel Supply Packable Daypacks and Totes, which collapse into their own internal pocket for easy storage.
“This is the first time we’ve done something in our own backyard,” explained Jamie Cormack, co-founder of Herschel Supply in the email.
The pop-up space is designed to evoke leisurely summer days and childhood lemonade stands, full of lively pink tones and lemon wallpaper.
Herschel Supply plans to open its first flagship location in Vancouver’s Gastown neighbourhood in Spring 2018.
The Lemonade Stand will be a taste of what’s to come for the brand, and officially opens on Friday, remaining open throughout the summer.
