Free outdoor movies at Canada Place 2018 lineup released
Free outdoor movies are back in Downtown Vancouver this summer as the Waterfront Cinema series returns to Canada Place.
Refurbished and renovated in 2016, the outdoor movie series made a comeback to the North Point at Canada Place last year, and it’s back every Thursday from July 12 to August 30.
Each week at dusk, a large inflatable screen will pop up, creating the perfect environment to take in a flick under the stars, all with the North Shore mountains in the background.
To give your night two thumbs up, do yourself a favour and bring a lawn chair (or you’ll be sitting on the hard ground) and jackets and/or blankets (it gets cold). And keep in mind that this is a family-friendly event so neither smoking nor alcohol are permitted.
