Free outdoor movies at Canada Place 2017 schedule
Downtown Vancouver is getting another free outdoor movie series this summer as Waterfront Cinema returns to Canada Place.
Skipping last year because of construction, the free outdoor movie series is back at the newly refurbished North Point at Canada Place every Thursday from July 27 to August 31.
Each week at dusk, a large inflatable screen will pop up, creating the perfect environment to take in a flick under the stars with the North Shore mountains in the background.
To give your night two thumbs up, do yourself a favour and bring a lawn chair (or you’ll be sitting on the hard ground) and blankets (it gets cold). And keep in mind that this is a family-friend event – smoking or alcohol is not permitted.
