A free outdoor movie is being screened at UBC's Wesbrook Village tomorrow

An outdoor movie will be screened at Wesbrook Village on Friday, July 20 in UBC and it’s completely free to attend.

With the warm summer heat, it’s a great way to catch a flick without spending an arm and a leg on movie theatre popcorn.

TRIUMF, Canada’s particle accelerator centre, is in the midst of celebrating their 50th anniversary and will be presenting a screening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi to celebrate.

Attendees need to bring picnic baskets and blankets, lawn chairs, and their choice of snacks and drinks.

The event will be held at Lot 4 in Wesbrook Village and the movie will begin after dusk (sunset will be at approximately 9:10 pm).
