Franz Ferdinand adds second show in Vancouver this December

Scottish rock quartet Franz Ferdinand is adding a second show to their stop in Vancouver, after their first show at the Commodore Ballroom this December sold out.
The group’s EP Darts of Pleasure was released in the fall of 2003, and since then they have recorded and released a number of hit songs, both internationally and at home.
Franz Ferdinand’s second single, Take Me Out, arrived in early 2004. The single propelled them to greater popularity in the UK and laid the groundwork for the band’s debut album.
Their most recent project, 2013’s Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, featured collaborations with Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard and Alexis Taylor, Peter Björn & John’s Björn Yttling, Veronica Falls’ Roxanne Clifford, and DJ Todd Terje.
The band will now take the stage at The Commodore on December 5 and December 6. Tickets for the second show go on sale this Friday.
