32-year-old recent New Westminster mother deemed missing

Police in New Westminster are seeking the public’s help in finding Florence Leung, who was last seen on Tuesday morning.

According to police, the 32-year-old was last seen at approximately 9:45 am at her home in the 1500 block of London Street, leaving the residence alone in her white Audi Q5.

Her disappearance has been deemed a high-risk as she may be suffering postpartum depression.

“We’ve been made aware that she may be experiencing postpartum depression and we’re concerned for her well-being,” said Acting Media Relations Officer Sergeant Jeff Scott. “We’re actively investigating locations where she may be, and are following up on all possible leads so that we can safely locate her and ensure her safety.

Leung has been described by police as Chinese, approximately 5’6” tall, with a slim build, long black hair, and black eyes. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the local police.
