One person is dead after a high-speed crash in Burnaby this morning.
The crash occurred just before 4:30 am, Wednesday morning on the 8300 block of Lougheed Highway.
“It was a single-vehicle crash going eastbound,” Sgt. Major John Buis told Daily Hive.

Buis said that speed and weather may have been factors.
The eastbound lanes remain closed. East and westbound traffic have been diverted to the westbound lanes.
