'Christmas Queen' isn't your usual holiday tradition

Forget sappy, over-sentimental Christmas stories – this show has enough edgy belly laughs  to even please the Grinch.

Vancouver TheatreSports’ Christmas Queen improv show is quickly becoming a favourite Christmas tradition, but you don’t have to be a traditionalist to fall for the charms of this gloriously bitchy, campy, blue-haired ‘Dame.’

This year, the Christmas Queen is back for the third instalment of her holiday series: Christmas Queen 3 – The Bachelorette Edition. Sit back and watch the hilarity roll in as the Christmas Queen decides between her beaus-in-waiting – Elf on a Shelf, Jack Frost, or Scrooge. Or prepare your vocal cords to shout suggestions at the stellar improv cast.

Before the show, grab your friends, family or workmates to get into the holiday spirit by strolling through Granville Island’s dazzling light display – or get into holiday spirit of a different kind with a pre-show drink in Vancouver TheatreSports League’s Neal Macrae Bar.

It all equals a Christmas adventure you’ll want to come back to year after year.
