To help you find what neighbourhoods boast the prettiest blossoms, the Vancouver Park Board has created an online map pinpointing the best of the city’s 41,000 cherry trees.

The map enables you to click on the ‘favourites’ button to find prime locations to take those all important cherry blossom photos. There’s also a ‘blooming’ button that will show you which trees are flowering.

With the cold winter, it seems that the blooming process has been slow, with only a handful of trees in the city showing signs of blossoms. But with the Cherry Blossom Festival returning to Vancouver from March 30 to April 23, 2017, we are hoping to see trees covered in pink flowers very soon.
